Ano Internacional do Vidro da ONU 2022

Em maio passado, as Nações Unidas declararam 2022 como o Ano Internacional do Vidro. Esta é a primeira vez que as Nações Unidas nomeiam um ano com um único material, o que destaca o papel indispensável e importante do vidro em diversos campos como tecnologia, economia, meio ambiente, cultura e sociedade, bem como seu papel no atendimento aos desafios e construir uma sociedade sustentável. Sociedade inclusiva, possibilitando a recuperação econômica global, promovendo o desenvolvimento de tecnologias emergentes e muitas outras contribuições. Como material básico com uma longa história, o vidro entrou oficialmente no centro do cenário mundial.

Important international events that have been announced to the world include the 32nd China International Glass Industry Technology Exhibition hosted by the China Silicate Society, the "National Glass Day" event in the United States, the theme event "From Pharaoh to High-Tech Glass" in Egypt, The 26th International Glass Congress held in Berlin, Germany and the closing ceremony of the International Year of Glass in Japan, etc.
